The IT department is, in many cases, divorced from the main business. IT workers tend to see themselves as "working in IT", rather than working in retail, services, pharmaceuticals or whatever. Feedback in to the business is often too technical, and IT's responsive to changes in teh business' markets is often slow and mis-targeted. This presentation looks at how IT and the business can be brought closer together thorugh the use of ITIL and ITSM in conjunction with the prioritisiation of business processes.
